By using screensolver, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

• Service Use: screensolver provides AI-powered solutions to problems identified from screenshots. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only unless otherwise agreed. Use of this service is at your own risk, and it should only be used for ethical purposes.
• Payment and Refunds: All payments for subscriptions or services are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
• Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or at our discretion.
• Limitation of Liability: screensolver is provided "as is." We shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless screensolver, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your use of the service and any consequences. You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and not for any unethical purposes such as cheating on proctored or graded assessments.
• Changes to Terms: We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of screensolver after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
• Data Handling and Privacy:
  • What We Collect: When you use our Chrome Extension's hotkey, we collect a screenshot image of your active browser tab.
  • How We Use It: Your screenshot is sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) to analyze the problem and generate a solution.
  • Data Storage and Retention: We are committed to your privacy. The screenshot images you send are processed in-memory and are NOT stored on our servers. We only store the resulting text-based solution as part of your user account's solve history, which you can access on your dashboard.
